Victorinox Retail Proposal

Victorinox is a multi level retail unit, concept devoloped through

observational photographs, sketchmanlipulation and extracting modular shapes from the retailers main product: Swiss

Army Knife. A curved void was created from ground to top floor encapsulating a natural light source which also houses a contemporary rock climbing frame inspired by the mountainous Swiss Valais. Lifestyle sections include: men and womens fashions, coffee shop, which has a dual purpose for clients, allowing them a sectioned space, to customise any products purchased.

This college project was a church conversion in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, being a protective structure, careful planning was needed and executed to design and convert into a luxury spa. Inspiration was taken from the surrounding area, particulary the fret-work from the 1900- Victorian well. Its detailing encouraged me to carefully fuse, both modern and eastern european patterns together. View below is of the entrance and fee-standing structure, upper floor.
